The Gift of Maryumeh: Uniting Najoon and the White Helmets to Gift an Annual Magazine Subscriptions to Syrian Children

Through "The Gift of Maryumeh" initiative, our goal is to bring hope, joy, and knowledge to children in Syria and neighboring countries' camps through a periodic publication filled with diverse cultural and creative content.

Najoon, in partnership with The White Helmets, has launched an initiative titled "Gift of Maryumeh." This initiative enables individuals to offer an annual subscription of Maryumeh magazine to a child either within Syria or in Syrian camps.

The "Maryumeh" magazine is a project of the Najoon "Survivors of Syrian Detention Centers" network, a Syrian organization licensed in France dedicated to contributing to the construction of a modern and free society and combating the culture of impunity for human rights violators, especially in Syria, through artistic, cultural, media, and legal avenues.

The magazine will be released every two months, starting from December, and reaches children worldwide. The White Helmets will participate in promoting and distributing it within the areas of its operations.

"Maryumeh" is a contemporary and periodic magazine for Arabic-speaking children, overseen by a group of creative writers and artists, along with specialists in child education. The aim is to create distinctive interactive content that promotes noble human values, encourages children to learn Arabic in both writing and reading, nurtures their creative thinking, and introduces them to their mother culture and its intersections with various human cultures.

Through "The Gift of Maryumeh" initiative, we aim to contribute to providing hope, joy, and knowledge to our children in Syria and the neighboring countries' camps by offering a periodic publication rich in diverse cultural and creative content, including stories, competitions, puzzles, scientific and cultural topics, and various entertaining subjects. The content stimulates children's creativity, supports their talents, and contributes to raising awareness and reinforcing noble human values.
